Scientific animation day of IERP phenotyping platform
Located on the INRAE Jouy en Josas campus, the in vivo phenotyping and clearing platform is open to the community for the in vivo study of complex biological processes in rodent and fish models. It brings together a range of cutting-edge equipments, distributed throughout the animal facilities, for in vivoimaging of experimental animals (confocal, 2photon and IVIS), flow cytometry of zebrafish larvae (COPAS) or, more recently, behavioral studies of fish (Viewpoint). The platform's engineers also have recognized expertise in clearing and 3D light sheet imaging deployed on different types of organs (brain, lung, intestine, placenta, lymph node, liver, etc.) isolated from numerous species (pig, horse, sheep, mouse, trout, carp and zebrafish). Created in 2012 at INRAE, this platform is part of the collective scientific infrastructure IERP for experimental infectiology on rodent and fish models; equipments are distributed within the confined premises (NSL2) of the experimental fish farm and rodent animal facility. IERP is an integral part of the Institut des Sciences de l'Animal Paris Saclay and of the national research infrastructure EMERG'IN for combating emerging and zoonotic infectious diseases through in vivo functional explorations
During this day, scientists using the in vivo phenotyping and clearing platform will present their projects, illustrating the diversity of expertise and techniques available on the site. The day is also intended to promote exchanges between users and beyond, as the event is open to all.
The day will take place in person only. It will be eligible for continuing formation in animal experimentation, and a certificate of attendance will be delivered.
